Conway Slave Cemetery

The Conway Family Cemetery located on Conway Road in Chesterfield, Missouri has graves dating back to the early 1800's.  Behind this small family plot, there is a single gravestone that marks the burial sight of their slaves. The individual slave graves and locations are not marked, leaving their names and locations forever lost.  No one knows for sure how many slaves are buried in the cemetery.  Many visitors to the cemetery claim to have seen an apparition of one of the Conway slaves wondering around in an overgrown area located behind the cemetery.  This overgrown area is most likely the slave's burial place.  Some visitors have claimed to have been touched or pushed.  One investigator claims to have been pushed completely out of the cemetery.

Across from the Cemetery is a stone foundation of an unknown building.  Some visitors have claimed to have heard voices and crying coming from inside the stone foundation.
